A DSM Screen working in conjunction with a Density Separator will remove contaminates such as:

Density Separator creates a fluidized bed of 1.60 specific gravity.  It creates a quasi heavy media with sand as the media.  Lignite floats and overflows, accompanied by sand finer than the cut point.  The lignite passes over a sieve where the +30 mesh lignite is discarded and the fine sand is saved.
